It does seem clear that the C6 did not run as hard as he should have.

High Boosted S would take a C6 though.

 

All I know is an S boosed with Comptech to 7psi cant touch a C6. I have had both. You guys get so hung up on peak HP numbers that you for get a SC'ed S will only have that High peak # just at redline.The C6 has a huge advantage under the curve and that is what actually makes a car fast. Here are some results with a gtech. Same driver,same road same conditions. Stock C6 is the red line. Black line is the Comptech S2000. I had much more experience launching the S when i made these runs as the C6 was new to me at that time. With the experience I now have in the C6 the difference would be even bigger. I realize they are Gtech times which are not necessarily accurate but, they were both on the Gtech so the difference should be the same.
S2000 1/4-13.4 107mph
C6 1/4- 12.8 113 mph

Most notable is the speed to time difference look at the 0-110 mph times for both,believe me when I say there is no comparison between the two, the C6 is much,much faster.I am sure there are plenty of highly modified S2000's that can smoke me but, highly modify the C6 and then see what happens. the C6 is faster in every way.
