he is a reaaalllyyy bad driver and i consider myself to be an 8 out of 10 for a stock s2k driver. he will bog it on a launch, and takes a half hour between shifts. i see what your saying though.
If that's the case, then the answer to your question is as easy as elementary math. Between two somewhat even cars, the "much" better driver will, of course, win.

May I know why the Downpipe can gain that much HP? Is that because straight through without the front catalytic converter as the diagram show us?

Downpipe he drops two cats? One on the mid and one on the down. Unless he buys a shorty dp which I doubt.

I would like to state that intakes do nothing for the WRX without a protune. In most cases, they hurt the car's performance. A protune is necessary to see a little gain from them.

If he doesn't have any sort of engine management, you win. The longer the race goes, the more you win.

Now, if he was smart with his mods, it'd be a more even race. But his mods hurt the car more than help it, especially without any EM.

you're going to murder him....

Any restriction in the exhaust of a turbocharged car robs power, especially when there are 2 super-restrictive cats, and such is the case with the WRX.

Am I the only one that doesn't even consider stock WRX's a challenge? Once well modded they are(Cobb Stage 2+), but having 30 less whp and more weight doesn't bode well whether it's from a dig, roll, whatever. AWD launches only get you so far, and any competent S2k driver should only fall behind for the 60' before flying right by.
