well my little cuz juss bought a 02' WRX... after a few days of driving around so. cal with him trying to get the 1000 break-in miles the manual asked for. we were all hyped up to see what it could do against my S.
well it went like this... we did a rolling start @ 20mph or so and we both floored it. well what can i say the S ate that sucker up and pulled away like there was no tomorrow! so much for his so-call torque monster... hehe

 

WRX ain't no match for S2K

 

I just which the magazines would see things the same way!

 

Supposedly the WRX's really loosen up at 4-5k miles just like our cars..... plus if he wasn't riding the brakes (to keep the boost up), you should walk away due to turbo lag....

I recently walked away from a guy in a turbo supra from 20-70mph (he caught me at about 75 and smoked on past), because he had no idea how to race.

Stock, the WRX isn`t much competition. I went to a local WRX meet and a few of them were pretty scary!

A good friend of mine just got his, waiting for the break in period to be up. Then we will se how it stand up to my S2k... Hopefully good.......
