Default WRX vs S2000

I created this thread about having fun in the snow this weekend making snow circles and posted a video of it.

Funny thing also happened that I want to describe and falls under a Street Encounter so....on an open freeway....when I was entering the highway on the exit ramp, it was clear but with one WRX way on the other far side of the lane so I kicked the rear out and drifted the ramp onto the freeway. He noticed me and slowed down and paced me and then he down shifted it and gunned it hard and took off...I didnt' want to follow because the conditions were bad, and better not risk trusting the confidence of the WRX guy since he just gunned it in the snow...so I wasn't looking to race anyone. Not my thing...so I paced behind to see what he would do. During my follow, the lanes surrounding me were clear and no cars around us so I purposely drifted back and forth across the lanes since the snow allowed it to be done at a relatively slow and gracfully controlled slides, he clearly noticed me doing this so he kicked out his rear too....to show me his drift but then he couldn't recover from the angle and he spun a 360 in the open... We drove by cracking up in the car because the WRX is suppose to have AWD and not lose it like that. The freeway was empty where this all happened. It was freakin hilarious. Some of it was recorded, but not enough to see the whole thing.

you can slide out in anything; awd cars aren't invincible. also, maybe the WRX driver just got real amped about the situation and got too sideways to recover. or maybe he just sucks at driving. either way, just make sure no one is around when you do this; chances are you're going to get flamed for this story. i don't care because i mess around in the snow, but only when im by myself.

Thanks, I love the way the car looks, but it can't hold a candle to my old S2K...
