I dont see why that WRX is not racing from a stop. It would be a whole differant story with that SRT-4. Also from the roll it didnt sound like the rex was to high in the revs.

Boy! Those WRX guys just don't take it so good when one of their cars get beat, do they?
And everyone wonders why a WRX doesn't race from a stop? Remember the AWD Stealths and Mitsu VR-4's? Whenever they launched, it was spectacular BUT there were more fractured half shafts than anyone will ever admit. I believe the same thing would happen to a WRX. Owners of these cars aren't stupid.

Not to start a war or anything, but I traded my 99 VR4 in with about 50k miles. I have a VERY large stack of timeslips with nothing but 5k drops and not a single problem with the car. Not saying that it was bulletproof, but very strong. Too bad it just wasn't as fun as the S2000. BTW, the VR4 was not stock.

a WRX with those bolt ons will not take a S2000 from a pull. the top end of a WRX is not to good. they dyno about 160 to all four wheels and say that a turbo back gives you 40 hp which it doesn't it is still 200 hp going to all four wheels in a much heavier car. it will still not pull the S. also the s2000 pulls the SRT4 so if it was a three way, you would have seen the s2000 in front. From a stop i think the neon would have gotten eaten up and would put up a good fight with the s2000. my $.02
