cruising around last night and saw a z06 race some raggy looking buick I think it was? looked like an 80's of some sort and looked like it was brown. To my surprise (unless the z06 wasnt racing but it sounded like he was) the buick must have left him by 5-7 car lengths.... if the z06 was racing how the hell did this happen???

 

Grand National?

 

There are many, many Grand Nationals/GNX out there that would woop up on a stock Z06. That engine can make insane amounts of hp.

 

yep lots of fast grand nationals out there

 

even a old regal T-Type with the same 3.8 turbo v6 can do it. It may have been one of those, because they actually came in colors other than black.

 

I love the Grand National stories. One of my favorites.

Especially if the driver of the other car is relatively new to performance cars and/or is driving their first "fast" car thinking they can take anything. Then this 80s beater Buick toasts 'em. Priceless.

 

thats what if must have been , couldnt tell if it was black or brown, but he boned out and completely left the guy in the z06. He made it through the light but the z06 guy had to stop and I pulled next to him and you wouldnt believe the look on his face.

 

Most likely a GNX (Grand National). Those can easily be modded into monsters. But I wouldn't even get near one, so nasty looking!

 

Aren't most (if not all) GNXs black?
