There are a few of them around here, and you're right I am not messing with them. I know a guy in KC that has 5 of them, his fastest is a 11 sec street car:0.

my mechanic has a 10.4 sec GNX WITH a/c, completely street drivable. needless to say, it's a monster. to those that don't know, its a wolf in sheeps clothing. thus he called it "BLACK SHEEP"

I was in KC once heading to KCIR to make a few passes on the 1/4. I was on my Z and felt invencible on the highway...some rusted GNX pulls right beside and revs and boosts and spits out like an angry llama....oh it was about to be on like donkey kong....

I downshift, punch it and it was on...got a little jump on him...pull about 1 car and then he stayed right there....120-130 and he is right beside me...140 and he is got me fair and square...I shut it off.... .... saw him that same afternoon ran a 11.01 @ 125 I think....scary fast!!

Wow! That is fast! To be able to beat the Z on the highway, that thing was a beast!

You never know what you're going to get. A buddy of mine is almost done building one that will run almost 1000 flywheel hp on race gas. It will be a street sleeper. Be interesting to see what kind of times he gets with it.

i made this point the other day...

grand national is to gnx what a wrx is to sti

the vast majority of these blown buicks were grand nationals, not gnx. and to the best of my knowledge, every single one of these buicks were black.

Grand Nationals are only sleepers to people who don't know car history. Too many monster GN's out there today.

700-900HP GNXs are not unheard of. It was a grand national. Monsters.
