Cold rev limiter on the first test drive.
I still get boned by that sometimes when people irritate me and I think it should be warmed up. I hate Fall.

Well good thing i had a friend who had a S2000 so i knew where everything was But as soon as i got mine, hit my front lip on a parking block pretty hard, also didnt know you had to have the e-brake on to use the top(thought i broke it) then i was getting onto the freeway, taking a right u turn, hit v-tec in first spun out hit a curb and flipped and slid down a hill, i was really hurt emotionally but thankfully not physically. Had it for a month, but now i have a better one

I just bought the car a couple weeks ago and wow!
1. I didn't know where the gas button was.. :shrugs:
2. The damn trunk opener! Finally found it.
3. The power of the first gear. Spun out and did a complete 360 on a main intersection. Thank god! I'm ok and so is the S.... Yeah, I should of known.

And 4. I still don't know this... how do you open the passenger door from inside the car?

took a turn too fast on cold tires and put it into a curb at 2am on some road in BFE while by myself... definately a learning experience... you know how people say you'll look back at this and laugh? I still don't.

1. Couldn't find the gas door release. Pulled into the gas station and spent a good 5 minutes looking for it.

2. Didn't find the secret compartment until a month after I bought the car - a friend of mine (former s2k owner) showed me. Before that, I would see the threads about the secret compartment and thought everyone was referring to the center glovebox in the middle of the console between the seats. I just figured that most people were faced forward and didn't see it. Felt like an idiot, but finding it was a nice surprise.

I thought I had broke the top, since I didn't realize about the parking break thing. When I was driving it home from the dealer, I put the parking break up a bit at a rest stop, got out of the car, and noticed it rolling forward on an incline towards a curb - very slightly, the parking lot was sloped downward a bit. I ran out, got in front of the car, and held it there, while telling my friend to put the handbrake up.

I didn't have the manual, but I found the fuel door thing in a second.
