Bernie, where do you live (ie. what country)? There's a few people in the States that get 0-60m/h times of 5.2secs. In Europe, I've heard reports of 5.8secs for 0-100km.h. Here in Aust I'm hoping that for 0-100km/h time will be 6secs flat or very close to it ... though, I haven't heard of anyone officially doing it. Bets posted time in a magazine here has been 6.6secs (0-100km/h) with a slipping clutch.

5.82192137 seconds sounds like an average derived from every road test source available to the copywriter at the time who did his/her research on the internet. Such an average would allow Honda (as well as the ad agency) to cover it's corporate butt.

Stop watches really aren't accurate at all...human reaction time can vary from .2 to .7, so you can really say that you're running from 5.64-6.24...you need something like a Gtech to be decently accurate.

5.11 best here. 4.9 which can also be 4.99 is very possible although i doubt Road and track are capable of doing that.

hey Sev, how in the world you managed to get 13.8 quarter mile time? Isn't this even faster than the stock quarter mile time posted in Road & Track, Car & Driver, etc.? And those published times are acheived with professional drivers and all sorts of adjustments to the car and "ideal" driving conditions. Let me know.

I was reading a Consumers Report, or one those type magazines at the grocery store last night. Their time was 6.3 for 0-60... probably a more real world time. What ever it is, and I'm sure it varies, it's one sweet kick in the butt for 4-banger.
