I found myself in the same situation. Personally, I like the propsed updates for the 2002's. The much maligned glass rear window was the kicker for me. I guess you have to weigh the pros and cons of what you find desirable about each MY---possibly a better price on the '01, but updates on the '02. It's a great car...you'll be happy either way. (I decided to wait for the '02 myself).

 

Well guys, I finally got my yellow S2K. I test drove it and it was awesome. I can't imagine waiting for the 2002. It would just kill me. The car looks great in and out. They drew in the paint protection for free. I got the chin spoiler at cost installed. I also got the low jack and 75K/7 year warranty, just in case. Next, I will get a nice alarm for it. I also got a new Alpine head unit and Infinity speakers. If someone can tell me where to start as far as putting rear speakers on, it'll be great help. I've read a little bit here and there on this forum, but nothing in detail. Also, any car care product info would be appreciated. I am so excited!!!

My dealership told me that the 2001 year S2000 is the last year since the S2000 is supposed to be a limited millenium car. Is this true, because I was gonna get the last year they make them since they might be more collective than the previous years.

Thats just what they told me. How do you know for sure that they are not going to quit making S2000's? Is there any web page that says it?
