I tried searching for the answer, but could only find threads where people were swapping between years closer in range ('01-'03 etc...)

Anyhow, I'm just wondering if anybody knows what, if any, issues I'll run into if swapping '01 seats into an '05. Anything special I'll need to consider? Any info is greatly appreciated.

question? Why do you want to do that? Don't the 05's have rear speakers and the 01's don't, (correct me if i'm wrong, I can't remember. )

 

mine don't have speakers. I have heard that 05's have slightly nicer material...but the reason I want to swap is color. Also...I'd keep my stock seats, so if I ever wanted to go back...

 

My advice would be to go to Majestic Honda's website and check that the rails and seatbelt harness have the same part numbers between model years.

 

All 00-05 seats are the same thing. They changed the seat design in 06+, and the passenger side rails are slightly different if I remember correctly. So 01 seats in your 05 would be a direct swap over.
