Look on the bright side.

The more S2000's out there, more vendors will develope aftermarket products for the S2k.

Prolene, as the owner of a 90 red Miata I know that you can't have a 90 BRG. The BRG was a limited edition 91 model. Only red, white and blue were available in 90.

OK, I bought it in 1990. Mingster, AaronS2K, SoCal28 et al have seen the car in my garage.

The badge for it states #440 of 4000 with my name...

The original Dunlops still look great and the battery works! 3600 mi.

Yes and I bought my 90 in 89 but it's still classified as a 90 model, just as yours is classified as a 91. I bought my S2000 in dec. 00, but it's a 2001. Occasionally you see people refer to having an 89 Miata because it debuted in June 89 but there is no such thing as an 89 (at least in US) as they were all called 90 models. Production date does not designate model year, that is done by the MSO (Manufacturers Statement of Origin). I's sure your title says 91.

OK, sorry I called it a 1990 BRG... shall I edit it or leave it and let this discussion explain it? Shall I say I made a mistake in calling it a 1990...? OK, I made a mistake. I do own it, however.

I DO NOT have a 1990 BRG Miata, everyone! I have a 1991 BRG Miata.

Hey Prolene, take it easy. I never said you didn't own it, just that it wasn't a 90. I didn't mean to make a big deal of it, just wanted to set the record straight. Sorry if I offended you. Peace!

Peace, thanks. I will never ever be confused as to the year designation from this time hence!

Bottomline, no mass production vehicle (including most limited edition Porsches, Ferraris, etc) has aprreciated in value over the last 30-40 years. . .
Bullshlt. Go try to buy a 63 to 67 Corvette today. Not even exotic. Try to buy an AC Cobra. Any Hemi car from the late 60s. A pristeen 67 to 69 Camaro. A Ford Pantera.

I don't know what planet you are from but even a with only a mild awareness of car prices you could not make that statement.
