Since S02s are basically not available anymore it just got me thinking. I really hope the 2002 models get the S03s since those are the tires I've set my sights on anyways. I'm hoping to get a S2K in 2002 and money is an issue for me so having the tires I want in there would be a bonus.

You are most likely to get the OEM S-02 as they are still produced. Enjoy the S-02 so you can compare a set of S-03's later on. The folks I've talked to that have owned both describe them as totally different. One is a great rain tire (S-03), the other a sticky high performance tire that is okay in the rain (OEM S-02). You don't get to have both at the same time.

Utah S2K. No no. I know you can buy it. Just that Bridgestone doesn't have it on their site anymore and I'm thinking maybe Bridgestone will be supplying Honda with their newer tires instead.

S2K performance in the cold w/rain was a big issue in my hopeful purchase of the S2K. I see the S03s as the perfect solution to my problems. Tires that are great in the wet that doesn't sacrifice much dry performance.
