just need to know if the 04 bumper is a direct fit on the 00-01 models. if not what adjustments do i need to make. I have tried searching and have found nothing so anythign to help will be appreciated. I hit a dog on the way home the other day and it cracked my front bumper. So I am getting a new one and i would prefer the 04 bumper.

I think the only thing is that u need to shave some of the styrofoam from behind the bumper.

 

I didn't have to shave any styrofoam. Some of the bolts from the undertray don't line up however. Oh, and I love your honesty, but try not to hit anymore dogs.

 

You do need to shave the leading edges of the bumper frame itself (behind the styrofoam). Otherwise, you'll notice two "nipples" on your bumper near your headlights. These will eventually lead to cracking of the paint.
