I guess that if Honda would have want to improve the "S" to stay at the top they could simply adding more rev instead of limliting it to 8000 rpm. That's what make this car special, a high rev engine !!!
I mean, when they launch this car, what was THE major advantage ??? 9000 rpm ! So imagine if they had improve this thing ? Let's imagine 10,000 rpm.....WOW !

There are lots of reasons why a speedometer can be off, even for a digital one. Tyre slippage, deformation, etc, etc, can skew the end result.

However, there is no reason why a digital tachometer should be anything other than precise.

Just to be clear, I believe Luis is refering to his digital SPA rev gauge and not the OEM tach. Yes I do believe OEM tach could be off a bit, but see no reason why an aftermarket gauge wouldn't be accurate.
