Crunching some numbers...
An AP1 with AP2 transmission and 4.44 gears is actually geared almost identically through the first 4 gears as having 4.56 gears (11.5% more aggressive/shorter than stock). However in 6th gear it is just 6% more aggressive/shorter than stock. Sounds real nice to me!

6th gear is almost identical. The geared top speed for an AP1 with an AP2 tranny and 4.44 FD gears is only 3 mph faster. So, you might say that 6th is a hair less aggressive in accelerative capabilities. It will give you slightly less cruising rpm at the same road speed, which I consider as a bonus.
