Default 04 Wheel question, NOT asked yet I dont think

And I cant find the answer on Honda.co.jp

there were 16 in BBS rims in exact size as the stock 16 in rims
several people bought them thru group buys for auto X and to just have lighter wheels

Are there 17 in JDM wheels in same size as 04 wheels that weight less with same sizing??

if yes, anyone have a pic?

I don't know, but someone posted that the weight of the stock MY04 wheel/tire is less than the 2003 similar setup.

www.honda.co.jp does have accessory wheels for the '04 S2000. Drill down to the S2000 page. They also show the new wing and new suspension pieces.

And VGS.

Thanks Barry
But those are the modulo wheels that were also available for the 00-on

So i am guessing there is no additional light weight 17 in wheel for the 04

I asked Jeff from Ganely Honda this very question about the stock wheel weights for the 04 S.'

Jeff said that he weighed some recently for a shipment. The the fronts were 14 lbs. and the rears were 15 lbs.

Pretty damn good for a 17x7 and a 17x8.5, if you ask me.

The wheels are on Handa's website. Like $33X/wheel
