No, we need fewer convenience accessories, not more. There are already enough unnecessary "niceties" to appease the fat, lazy, complacent American populace.

and how exactly do you know that?
Just based on the history of Honda.. The only thing remarkable they've ever done for the USDM was the ITR run.

The company really isn't in the HP pissing match that's going on between manufacturers. Look at the snail-like progression of the NSX.

I read some comment about Hondas lack of HP for X model and it just isn't going to happen.

Do I know what Honda has in store for the future with this model or when production will end? No. But I do believe that the powerplant behind it is just about finalized for now. Or at least a few years. With the split in motors among markets, I believe Japan would get the big push forward first. It seems like the big push for "performance" is behind the new SI (autoshows). The S on display is the same.

Honda rumors are going to run rampant all over the internet this summer. It happens EVERY year.

Honda will let you know when something is in store. Marketing or at least media coverage generates sales.

Not necessary if you're already top-down, but could be useful when making a decision to go topless or not.
I just roll the window down and see if there is rain, otherwise my top is always down.

What we need is an S3000 with a 3.0L inline 6 or V6 with about 300 to the flywheel and a totally new body style.

You want an S3000, buy a 350Z Roadster. It''ll be a big fat pig and weigh over 3000lb, which defeats the purpose of this car. It's pretty heavy as it is now at 2800+.

There are people that will always want more. Honda could put 400hp in this thing and after a few people kill themselves and the dust settles, there will be people 4-5 years later that'll want 500hp because they're getting bored.

I don't want a V6 or factory forced induction and for God sakes, I definitely don't want an outside temp gauge. That's pretty assanine. What I would like to see is an S2000 that weighs about 2500-2600lb instead of 2800+ and maybe another 15-20 normally aspirated hp.

The Temp gauge is ok with me. Live near the coast and temps vary. I like to drive with the top down but sometimes its too cold.

Top down anytime unless I'm gonna go to sleep soon. Top down driving tends to wake me up.
