The S2000 will have better odds of being more reliable than your SRT4 was. import > domestic. that's a simple fact.
Maybe you should change that to *most* import brands > *most* domestic brands (in reliability).

The nissan spec V is a total piece of s**t, and I've heard the six speed in the g35 is problematic as well. The neon srt4, on the other hand, is near bulletproof. I won't dispute that statiscally speaking you'll have less trouble out of a honda than you will out of a dodge or a pontiac but you cant make a blanket statement saying that import automatically > domestic, because there are a few million mitsubishis that will be knocking at your door asking you what in the world you're talking about.

On average toyotas and hondas will be more reliable than most domestic brand offerings, this is true.

If they don't discontinue the S2000 after this year.. and bring it back with still only 240HP.. I'm giving up on Honda.

Actually I was looking for a reference to how to change the outside temp gauge from F to C and saw that post. Sorry to bring it back for no other reason.
