Default 06 s2k daytime running lights

I recently jsut got my s2k, and i noticed the car has daytime running lights, how do u turn them off so they dont stay on during the day cuz i personally think it looks like shiit and the amber color is stupid.

Can you pull a fuse that keeps them on so they wont go on?

or

Can I jsut take out the bulbs for the daytime running lights?

thanks
steve

Hmm didn't know 06 got DRLs. Bummer.
In my FX, I replaced the ugly yellow DRL bulb with a small 9LED Xenon White. It looks great and matches the 6000K HID perfectly. Easy install, and about $10 on eBay. Not sure what size/socket the S2K is though.

I'm pretty sure the '06 DRLs are just the high beams running on a lower voltage.

Yes, fuse #14 but you'll get "DRL" on your gauges.

Solution is to replace with bulbs that match the HID's. I suggest the Polarg GalaxyWhite H1's or anything that is 4500K color.

I pulled fuse 14 but then the DRL light on the dash bugged me. All you have to do is pull out the cluster and take the DRL bulb out. I posted directions somewhere on here after I did mine.
