best advise anyone can give is to test drive one. If it is a fast car you want then you might want to look at something other than an s2000. The s2000 is quick, but by no means would I call it fast. I do admit I have driven a few fairly high horsepower cars though. The place where I see the s2000 has its biggest strengths in terms of speed is on how nimble it is. You can toss it around as good or better than anything else I have ever driven. I have been extremely happy with my s2000 and have not regrettedthe purchase once since i bought mine a couple years ago. Good luck in the decision man.

I wont be having any kinds any time soon... well none that I plan on but not many passangers, no lugage, just myself and somthing sporty. And I guess you all are right, I could just go test drive the car instead of asking actual owners about it right? Thanks for any and all help.
I think coming on here and saying "I want something faster and louder" kind of sits the wrong way with some people.
You could do like 1 poster on here mentioned and drill out your Si exhaust and it would be louder
then you could add a vented hood and be faster
It's kind of obvious to a lot of us that you aren't really interested in the S for what it is, raw, visceral and engaging w/best in class handling but for what you 'think' it might be, loud and fast. In my opinion you should think about why you want an S and what you don't like about the Si. In all honesty the Si isn't that far behind the S in terms of pwr and handling, just FWD rather than RWD.

Go and test drive!
