Ok guys, I need some help here.
I am one of the unlucky ones with the 1-2 grind problem. I have to take the car in, but I want to find a place that has already done one. I don't need some inexperienced moron questioning whether the problem really exists, or experimenting on my car.

Anyone had it done is South Florida??????
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys.

Fla-y2ks2k has had his transmission fixed at Coral Springs Honda. Here are three links to his reports: http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...hp?threadid=125 http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...hp?threadid=553 http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...p?threadid=1439
In the end, I think he's happy with the repairs. I'll be taking my car to CSH for the transmission repair when I have time to do so - probably after the New Year

Does anyone know how much those parts would be if not covered by the warranty? The gears and Syncro pack?

Thanks CoralDoc.

I will take the car in there some time this week. I'll update you on how it turned out.
When are you taking yours in?

By the way, how did the races go this weekend? Rained out?

Sometime after new year. Until then, I'm going to be swamped with final exams, family visits and a track day at Sebring (31 Dec) . I'll be interested to know how it goes with you.

Since several championships were determined by this event, the organizers went ahead with it. I had a blast! It is extremely challenging to drive this car at the limit when there is standing water all over the course. Interestingly, the 2 times that I spun were during acceleration after a turn. Once the car achieved grip in a corner it held on pretty well, probably due to the relatively slow speeds on the turns (20-40 mph). Not surprisingly, some of the slower times were from the last cars that ran; ones that normally contest for FTD (fastest time of the day). The rain was coming down harder, the cars were on racing slicks, and we were all warning them to slow down in the No-Wake Manatee zones .

I don't blame anyone else for not showing. It was a dismal day, at least the misery was shared with like-minded lunatics .
