Default 10" crack in my windshield

Man, I just noticed a 10" crack on the passenger side.
Is it possible to get it fixed or must I replace.
What's the cost on a windshield and labor?

Your insurance company gives you one windshield per year. Your rates shouldn't go up.

I just had my windshield replaced about a month ago.. I went through my insurance which is a $100 deductable. I used Safelite and they waived the $100, and the only difference I can tell between the new windshield and the old one is the new one doesn't say Honda on it.

Older cars (mid-70's and before) had stronger windshields that made an excellent guillotine in an accident. Modern windshilds self-destruct more easily and are safer.

A ten inch crack cannot be stopped. Live with it (if you can get away with it) or replace it. End of story.

I generally wait for a couple shots at the windshield before I replace. I've got three spider cracks that stayed the size of a quarter on my current one. No need to replace as they're each in a different corner not blocking my view.
