11,250 Mile Check Up.....A Few Questions
I am coming up on my 11,250 Mile Check up and Was wondering what to expect the dealership to do. I recently switched over to Full Synthetic at 10,000 miles and was now wanting to flush my Transmission and the Rear Diff., what would be the best Fluid for each of these? Also what charges might i expect? Any S2Ki members recommend a Orlando Honda Dealer to do this? Any help would be great as far as the questions i asked or any info. that i should do for this check up.
Thanks in advance.

Can't really flush the gear box and differential. Just drain and refill.
Honda MTF for the gearbox, or maybe GM Synchromesh, or Redline MTL.
Mobil One Synthetic Gear Lube 75W-90 GL 5 for the differential.
I can't explain it, but my car overall was smoother and my gear box was smoother after my first fluid change on the gearbox and differential at about 8000 miles.
I recommend doing this yourself. The Honda dealers here charge $95 for this change. The fluids, 2 quarts of Honda MTF and 1 qt of synthetic differential lube cost a total of about $15. Get the crush washers from HandA for about $2 (there are a total of 4 needed, fill and drain on each). You'll need a little bottle pump from Pep Boys to move your new fluid up into the fill holes, <$10 and your set for parts.
Just get your car up on four jack stands and have at it. Do a search for specifics, there's a lot of info on the site for this. This will get you started https://www.s2ki.com/article/archive/8/
I'd see how they react to checking your valve lifter clearances and it wouldn't be a bad idea to get an all wheel alignment. Brake fluid flush and new antifreeze wouldn't hurt.
