Hey Guys.

Sorry for my late reply . But did 'nt have the time to post these past few days!

So for Bumble bee one will soon be adding the ITB's, just need to gather some cash

For suzuka blue S2k . Will scan the slip and post it . No problem!

IAmTheRealAsif . Sorry to correct you but my J's Racing super circuit muffler is not a 60mm . it is a 70mm JDM spec exhaust which costs $2200

Krazik . Yea it s true !! generally you guys in the US manage to get nearly 300HP with my set up .Bear in mind that i live in Malta Europe Maybe we do not have a great tuner as you guys have . Al tough i m very happy with my torque numbers

Dyno is like a Dyna Pack but it is European! Not quite sure about the brand!

By the way my S2k is a JDM import

S2000 is a good drag car.

2008 S2K

- 4.44 FD
- CT Engineering Ice Box
- Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial 225/50/15
- AP1 flywheel
- ACT pressure plate

These are the only mods I got.

I made 13.3 at 102 mph.

i dont see why people think it cant be done. Gears, tires, diet and you should be there. especially with some minor mods and flashpro and a decent driver.

13.78 with just an aem v2 intake as the only mod and potenza re-01s at 32psi. Amp, sparetire, and tools in the trunk. Bass shakers under the seats. car had about 70k on it at the time with the orignal clutch/diff/everything else.
Gonna run it again this weekend with a berk 3" with a hfc as the only other mod and we'll see how she does.

And before anyone starts harping on me for only dragging, I'm also the membership chairman for my local scca chapter and autox at least once a month.

The car does many things quite well. All those little hatches werent built for straightline speed either.

Times are changing and as more and more s2ks start to see modification so will we see s2ks becoming all sorts of race cars, from na drag cars to fully build 1000hp F series monsters.

To each their own.

I personally am building a 500whp turbo street car, not for drag racing, but more so for fun and circuit occasionally.

But... On the 06+ I would do this:

CAI
PLM header
3 inch exhaust with/tp
Flashpro tune
4.57 gears
Slicks
Mild weight reduction

Honestly, I have never seen anybody with that set up go to a 1/4 mile. I think a 12 second pass is doable. My friend ran a 13.6 with just a 70mm and tp.

Whenever someone buys and reopens Memphis Motor sports park im gonna take mine back up to see what she'll do. The track closed down about a year ago but i ran a 14.2 stock at 99mph with a 5 grand launch. I was to scared to launch in vtec so i launched at 5k instead. i'd spin into vtec, then catch traction, drop back down to 5, then have to build back to vtec so i lost alot of time on that. Next time im gonna launch it correctly and see what it'll do.

My S2k Mods since i ran the first time.

Skunk2 70mm exhaust
skunk2 70mm test pipe
megan racing header (same exact design as OEM just bigger diameter piping)
Injen intake
03 ecu swap
bypassed throttle body
NRG engine dampener
Enkei rpf1 (F-17x8, R-17x9)
Vis fiberglass hardtop (soft top delete)
Motorklass 4.44 gearing
Spare tire and tools removed

I've been wondering for the longest time what mine would pull in the quarter because it is soo much faster than when it was stock. Someones supposedly in the works of buying the track right now so when they do I hope to get a video up of at least a low 13 with the potential to be tuned via ems to a high 12 car, but Maybe im just dreamin lol

Interesting that it took that long, but it's nice to see several people doing what was thought to be difficult.

It's not worth it IMO on a car like the s2000. It is meant to do other things. I like being different though. Obviously a turbo/sc/spray would be WAY cheaper. But this IS doable. People act like its impossible. My buddy ran a 13.6 with 70mm single and tp. I have seen a 13.4 with same mods. If you could come out the hole hard without breaking things...thats the ticket.

N/A 12's on an s2k I would say this:

CAI
PLM header
3 inch tp
3 inch single exhaust
Tune(Flashpro, Kpro, AEM)
4.4 or 4.56 gears
DR's
and most of all...

A good driver.

The header, intake, and exhaust all save weight too. If this wouldn't do it, add a set of cams I would would say yes for sure, but I think its doable on that set up.
