Default 170 miles Only on a full tank

ok people talk about their S and how much they can go on a full tank..

theres something wrong with my S.

a full tank with normal driving drives me 280KM (173 Miles) only.
a full tank with playing around redlining doesnt reach 230km (142Miles).

now i got the check engine on (running on a broken 02 sensor and very bad cat. converter)..and 18 inch 255 rear tyres..

would the 02 sensor and the cat be the problem?

cause im kinda shocked that it drives me 173miles only.

You know...Im getting about 200 miles per tank. I think your wheels and tires may be the culprit more than the o2 sensor or cat.

Alignment toe/cast

o2 might be a culprit. I dont see it being that drastic tho. It might think its lean and try to richen it out but I wouldnt think that much. THere must be a few things messing it up. I got Vortech and Im at almost 250 to the tank. Stock boost tho.

I'm 100% stock and get about 300kms city driving for one tank with a lot of VTEC.

Pretty bad fuel consumption but it's a 240HP car so meh...

I get about 220 a tank and that's with driving the car hard, when I drive easy when I first got it, it was about 300 a tank.

I hit VTEC often, and I'm mostly city. I regularly see 260 miles / tank, with some in the high 270s.

I think that the problem is your driving environment. Bahrain driving habits are very different than here in the U.S. On the other hand, your 93 octane fuel probably doesn't contain any ethanol. This should be helping your gas mileage. What is your gas mileage when you highway drive only?
