I think that the problem is your driving environment. Bahrain driving habits are very different than here in the U.S. On the other hand, your 93 octane fuel probably doesn't contain any ethanol. This should be helping your gas mileage. What is your gas mileage when you highway drive only?
Hmm my other friend got stock tyres on his S with a test pipe but a bad o2 sensor, i told him about my case and he was shocked as well.. he runs 350KM+

well bahrain is mostly city not much highway, but I'd say 50-80km should differ from highway and city driving.

If you know you have a bad o2 sensor then thats probably the issue, the computer is probably having a hell of a time keeping an optimum AFR under closed loop operation

and you're probably running rich as hell constantly.

How do your exhaust tips look? You're probably also zapping your cat if its not dead already.
about the sensor..im off on saturday should be changed+ a test pipe..hoping for the best.

my exhaust tips are super black..So yeah the car is really rich

Do you have a yellow box or other speedo / odo calibration device?

Your 160 miles might actually be 220 with the 18 inchers?
hmm i dont think so. The car is a US specs and doesnt have anything except header & exhaust, ok i dont really know what the yellow box your talking about is ..

hmm it could be from my 18's

while im at it ill check the tyres as well.

the yellow box http://www.ricks2k.com/products/yellowbox.php fixes your speedo. bigger tires/tyres mean that your speedo is reading your speed slower than you're actually going. Add that to the already offest speedo and who knows.

You could always measure with a GPS.

The stock rears are 225/50-16

I'll assume you went with a 225/50-18 but who knows, tell me the actual tire size and I'll tell you how much your speedo is off.

with that assumed size, your speedo would be 8% too slow. if it read 60MPh, you'd actually be going 64.8MPh.

drop the factory off speedo that's about 6% off which would put you at about 10 more miles total travel than what your odometer reads every fill up.

You should be lucky to have 170 miles to a tank... I'm lucky if I get 150 and that's highway miles...

And yes, cruising AFRs are above 14

Id say your o2 and cat would be the main culprits. Also, service the air filter and/or do a tuneup on your car.

Also, is your full tank 8.5 gal? Or 12 Gal?

I have a tendency to fill up my tank when I still have a lot left ...
