Luder, you are so correct, BUT, I love wheels that scream "Bling Bling." ...
Sorry to be so dumb, but what the hell is "bling bling"? It is not in the dectionary.
If you don't know consider yourself one of the few lucky ones left. you have been brainwashed by rap videos!!
OK so Bill's lucky, WTF does it mean?

I thought it had something to do with Frogger j/k

18s or 19s is the question - neither is the answer.

Don't stop at 19", I think you should get 20 or 21" rims. If your going to make a statement, MAKE IT LOUD!!! AND BE THE FIRST! Of course you will have to get rid of those nasty fenders. Don't worry about what the chicks think, they will just think your other car is a Frieghtliner

All joking aside... you paid for it, so get what you like, but anything over 18" would be overweight and have a negative effect on the performance.

I have 18's on my Prelude with 215/35 tires. This is the same amount of sidewall that you'll have if you run 19's. I'll tell ya what when you nail a pothole and have to replace a bent rim you'll regret getting 19's. It's really hard to find the right setup in 19's anyway. Most company's don't make the right offsets for the S2000. 18's are a good way to go, that way you won't lose as much performance. 19" wheels and tires cost a lot more anyway, probably $1000 more for the whole package.

"Bling bling" comes from the imagined sound blue diamonds (or anything shiny, e.g. chrome) would make when the lights hits them. I think its been around for a while but really caught on from a rap song by a group in New Orleans (guess what the title of that song was). They really popularized the term along with cars with big rims and jewelry with plenty of diamonds. Every one of their videos features cars like Lamborghinis, Ferarris, etc. on "dubs" (20" wheels).

Yup.. I'm a young black male from an urban area. If you old people need any more help just let me know.

I hear that 23" wheels are out. Why don't you get those. You're ruining the car's handling anyways . . .

Nope, I am not young or black but am a product of urban environment displaced into the 'burbs.

One of my favorite movie lines is, "I am not BLACK, I am GREEK" <---Perfected this line while I pledged and became a distinguished gentleman of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. Just a useless FYI about yours truly.

18 inchers looks to be to better choice. Bling, Bling indeed means, something that grabs your attention, (shiny, bright, loud, and beautiful, kinda like tall blonds. LoL, anyways, I believe most of you guys are right, 19's would take away performance and handling. I will be going with 18's definitely. I am lowering my car with H&R race springs (1.5 Front/1.4 Rear Drop) and need a good off set. What can I use to insure no rubbing? Thanks for your opinions.

BG and the Big Tymers did the Bling Bling song. They're part of Master P's crew. 19" rims are only bling bling if they're chromies. Anybody who puts chrome rims on an S2000 needs their head checked.
