Don't feel bad. The first time I test drove one they wanted to put gas in it before I went out. I sat in the showroom for 20 mins., no exaggeration, before I went out to see what the issue was. There were 2 techs and 3 sales people all trying to figure out how to get the gas-door open. One of the techs started pulling the trunk apart claiming that the lever was in the trunk, hidden somewhere.
... let's just say I didn't spend any money at that dealer.

to make long story short, got the car today.. and I spend about good 10 minutes at a gas station looking for feul latch, in fact i had to call one of my buddy and still took plus 5 min due to bad direction..
I went through the gas cap thing before I purchassed mine, because I rented one in Vegas. I was in the ghetto trying to refuel before I got back to the rental place and could not find the release. It got to the point where the ghetto folk were starting to gather a bit, and my wife is saying "lets just go, and pay the extra at the rental place" because she was so scared. Finally I called the rental place and they told me where it was.
the first days when the car got to Panama i was in the process taking some pappers for my plate number and i was following this guys that know were doing the papers and i was going out of gas... so i stopped in the gas station , but i didnt know a hell where was the fuel latch start to call a ex s2k friend and my mechanic jajaja
