Done TB bypass on mine also thermal TB gasket,much cooler to touch than the inlet manifold.Also moved IAT back to manifold as was bogging when it was in intake tube really quickly when in traffic.

I used this for all of mine.

HPS 5/16" ID Black high temp reinforced silicone heater hose 10 feet roll, Max Working Pressure 85 psi, Max Temperature Rating: 350F, Bend Radius: 1-1/4" https://a.co/d/hRP8RoI

But ecu only knows temp from intake temp sensor, which is located in intake hose (on my dbw '06, I think its in im on older models?). So a hodata im gasket letting cooler air into cylinder isn't something ecu would know about.
