Having followed the board the last two weeks, time to jump in - great info, well moderated. As a Honda motorcycle dealership owner, the bike oriented engineering led me to my 2000 silver/blk. Several threads express concern about engine durability i.e. high compression etc.. Take comfort in Honda engineered inline 4 motorcycle engines producing reliable power well in excess of the S2000. My wife's lowly CBR600F4's power equates to over 200 hp/ltr. CompTech's supercharger kit is still below that level. Question: mention was made of a day at Lime Rock - any dates? Interesting note: within Honda, the S2000 is often referred to as the Tochigi Tiger.

I raced for Honda years ago (Two Brothers Racing). I had many F3's (retired before the F4 came out) and agree with your analysis. Honda would not field a 9K engine unless it were reliable.
Likewise, welcome aboard.
