I'd wait for the 2002 so you get a glass rear window.

Wait until 2004, a Type R version will come out making 300hp with upgraded everything! Haven't you read the rumor threads? I mean cmon, Honda can't possibly continue making the S2000 with 240hp all the way till 2007 right?

I don't know what being a guest has to do with anything, but bvanhiel's comments were uncalled for. Just laugh at it and move on. I thought it was funny

2slow,

I find the baby's shirt in your user icon tastless and uncalled for.

Hundreds of babies a year die from SBS (shaken baby syndrome). Many times that number have permanent neurological damage that they carry on into adulthood. To treat it as a joke is unconscionable.

Moreover, it sends the message to our younger members that shaking babies is something to laugh about. These are impressionalble kids that may well be having children of their own soon. If they think SBS is a joke they may shake an infant out of their ignorance. Is that something you really want on your conscience?

My own brother was shaken by our nanny when he was just a few months old. He's 20 now, and he'll never get to drive an S2000 for himself. I can't even take him as a passenger without his bib because of all the drool he gets on the seats.

OMG - I just realized I must have been shaken as a baby.

That's why I need to wear a bib to keep from drooling all over my S2000 !

I have located 2001 s2k at MSRP silver on red (my second color choice ). the dealer is 150 miles from here.
I have also been looking at a new 2000 s2k which the local dealer will sell me now for 00 UNDER MSRP. this car is white over red, which is my first color choice. they will also throw in the floor mats and wind blocker.
this car has been sitting in the showroom for over 3 months, because this color combo is not popular (per some dealers I have talked to.)
WHICH ONE SHOULD I GRAB ? [/QUOTE]
it is all at your descretion depending on what you like. Just make sure that the car is in good repair and go and get it.
