2000 model or 2001?
Whats wrong with a new clutch at 16000 miles because it was noisy?
I bought mine used, before the 01s were out. Dealers were still gouging on the price. I got a killer trade in on it, otherwise I would have waited. But my trade wouldn't have fetched the price it did if I waited...
Aside from a few rattles, I am glad I didnt wait.
As for TSBs, it seems minor compared to the rash of #4 cylinder failures seen on this board on the 01s.

Honda has softened up the 2001 model too much with luxury and safety items which, of course, also add weight.

IMO I'd buy the 2001, as the newer model year will likely have a higher resale value down the road, unless you will keep it for more than a few years.
You are forgetting about the trunk release that is on the 01.
Also, red fading over time?! HA! NO WAY!
I didn't care for the yellow at ALL the first time I saw one live. But Jason's looks good to me now, I rather like it. Would I want it as my only ride? Doubtful...but it's a cool color.
Sports cars are SUPPOSED to be red...!
Also, how many miles does the 00 have?
Tough call for some, but it's red all the way for me!
