2000 s2000 convertible top retrofit
Hi,
I am interested in doing my own convertible top retrofit. I have a 2000 Honda s2000 and was wondering if this was easy or difficult? I have a soft top with plastic and am interested in getting a canvas with glass. How difficult would this retrofit be to do it yourself?
Additionally, does anyone know of anyone who offers doing this at a discount? I live in Northern Virginia in the DC metro area.

i know there is a diy on here for the conversion. this is also quoted from the gateway region for soft top replacements.

I've done the conversion. It took me 12 hours the first time, plus another 8 to redo it to get it right. PITA but well worth doing. Find someone else in NoVa who's done it and do whatever it takes to get them to help you.
i have done a stock top replacement in 5 hours, however im a honda tec with a dozen of them under my belt. my advice is to pay someone with experence to do it. it will save you time and money. ask your local dealer who they use for upholstery work or look up a upholstery shop in your area.
