Take out the head unit and get the code.

You may be able to call Honda and give them your VIN for the number but I think the only way is pulling the unit.

The "code" will not be written on the HU. It supposed to be a theft deterent. If it were simply written on the back of the HU, it would be easy for a thief to just take it and use it wherever he likes. There is a serial number on the back of it and it is with this that the dealer can find the code. However, most dealers will not give the code to some guy who just walks in off the street holding a HU in his hands. He could just as easily be the thief who stole it. You still need to show up with you car and proof you own the car. At least, if I were a dealer, that's the way I'd do it.

Have you checked the "ownership package" that came with the car? That contained the owner's manual and all the business cards for everyone in the selling dealership, along with warranty book and any other propaganda they might have wanted to hand you. Secret compartment?

When I called the dealership to get my code, they had me look for a number under the secret compartment door. Open up the secret compartment and look on the bottom of the piece you raise up. That should be a copy of the number you need to give them so they can look up your code.
