Because to fix up this car, to respectable quality, you're going to be spending a total 14-15K+ for a 85K 01 S2000 and that's considering absolutely nothing mechanically goes wrong. I find it hard to believe that someone could be that negligent with it's appearances, and be that responsible with it's internals.

I wouldn't be surprised if the tranny or diff went out soon, or a whole host of other problems. Best of luck.

i'm steering away from the car. i'm changing my tactic, i found a decent one with high mileage but beautiful body. if its well taken care of it might be a good deal.
