Let's see:

There will be no 2002 model year since they are only building them for 2 years, however the 2002MY will have:

• Glass rear window
  
• Traction Control
  
• Power seats
  
• 3.0L V6
  
• 3.2L V6
  
• round disk brakes
  
• Automatic transmission with F-matic (??) operation
  
• They are only going to build 15000 of them, 5000 for the US

It's nice to see that dealers in the UK are as well versed in the products they sell as they are here in the US.

 

Stop the presses!!!!! Latest update on glass top '02 S2k's!!!!!!

From yet another reliable source, the confusion over the glass rear window stemmed from a bad translation from the Honda of Japan website. A corrected translation now reads that '02 production will include a glass moonroof in the soft top. The plastic rear window will be replaced with a 42" flat panel monitor that will display the rear view thru a pair of digital cameras mounted in the newly re-designed tail light assembly.

 

Is this Honda dealer on dope or is getting their S2Ks from some other manufacturer? Man, what the hell is wrong with the facts? Everything is wrong, V6 VTEC engine? Traction control? F-Matic transmission? Sorry but if Honda Japan does not have it, no Honda in the world is going to beat that. Absolute crap, someone should sue them for misleading advertising.

 

I think it's nice of them to allow wheels on the S2K.

Yeah...I also heard that Honda will make a special edition version of the Prelude before the discontinue it. It will have a 400+hp version of the 3.5l v6 from the Acura RL along with all-wheel-drive, traction control, 4WS, ABS,GPS,DSS, ABC,NBC,CBS and a mini-bar...
