Default steering wheel pain??

This is probably going to sound silly to many people
but I have to ask the question.......Are the tendons in
your hands sore from driving the s2000?I got my car
and painful hands in late march and I 'm thinking because
of the steering wheel size and the precise handling that
I may be holding the wheel to tight or something.
thanks-stew

How are you holding the wheel? I'm going through tendonitious in both wrists from computer usage and I find that if I hold the wheel with my left hand, palm up in the 7 o'clock position it hurts me. I try to keep my hands in the 10 and 2 o'clock position (both hands palm down) and they're fine.

I've never experienced any discomfort from the steering wheel.

I think the steering whell is terrific. One of the most comfortable that I have ever used. I only wish I could afford Rick's red/black upgrade

Seriously though, maybe you are just gripping that thing too tght. Relax

Here's my theory...since taking delivery of the stook, you have felt more manly. The "urge" "arises" more often and with no outlet, you "relieve" yourself...Anything ringing a bell here? It's not the car, but it is the car. Get it?

Try different grip styles until you find one that's the most comfortable. What I do during cruising is place my left elbow on the arm rest and steer with my left hand. This relieves some of the pressure off of the hands and wrist.

The steering wheel was one of the reasons i fell for the car....
It looked and felt great.I may have to relax and change my hand
positioning.... Or maybe it is the car.thanks for the advice-stew
