2002--First Weeks Impressions
Just picked up my 2002 Sebring Silver/Black from the dealer Tues. night and all I can say is "WOW!" I've only put on 300 miles so far, but hopefully we can add to that number this weekend. I just wanted to thank everyone for the great posts and the friendly community here on the forums. I've been visiting this site almost daily for the past several months and it has helped make my decision process and purchasing process that much easier. Thanks.
So far, my impressions are as follows:
--The rear glass window is not too small. I'm 6'2" and see perfectly out of it.
--The car is solid. Compared to my recently departed 95 Supra TT, there is no chasis flex.
--I'm impressed with the new stereo. I have no problems hearing the music with the top down on the freeway. Before I even got the car, I was planning on swapping it out with something more powerful, but I've decided to spend my money elsewhere.
--The HID lights are bright. I've been high beamed by on-coming traffic constantly. I feel bad, but if they're DOT certified, they're legal.
--The S2000 draws looks!!! I thought my Supra was an attention getter. This thing is an eye magnet.
--I love the new shift knob. It's got a nice feel to it.
I bought the factory alarm through H and A and will be installing it tomorrow. I know I could have gotten a better aftermarket one for the same money, but I wanted a little do it yourself project to work on. Unlike my previous cars, I think I'm leaving this bad boy stock (other than JR Filter and X brace). One question though...Is the roof really vinyl? Mine looks and feels like canvas.

Welcome, elam011! If you haven't done so already, you might read the FAQs (top of page). They are a wealth of information for new owners (Of course, you can avoid the "How to care for your rear window" info, you lucky devil!).
