Yes, 2002 is the last year the MY2002 S2000 will be made.

Actually 2000 was the last year for the S2000. Everything since then have actually been Civics with body kits.

The URAS Act*, to which we all subscribe, states that it is illegal (or at least bad form) to discuss a specific Model Year being the last Model Year until said Model Year has commenced. Under URAS, it is proper to discuss 2001 being the last Model Year at this time since Model Year 2001 S2000s still are being delivered to customers, but you may not discuss Model Year 2002 being the last Model Year until such time as Model Year 2002 S2000 deliveries actually commence.

I offer this as a gentle reminder to those of you who may not be familiar with URAS. Please don't force the committee to take action!

Damn I'm sure lucky enough to have picked up one of the real S2000's before they started dressing up those Civic si's as s2k's.....

And I had just got use to accepting the idea that dealers were right about the grass rear window.

If I was Honda I would definatley build a new grass rear window, many new colours, a better interior...

And then walk away...

Sam.

Does this mean all the 2002 S2000 owners will need a lawnmower for basic window maintenance? Talk about more pure oxygen inside the cabin....woohoo!!!!

It is now the year 2005. I think it's safe to now say that your local dealer was so full of sh!t, their eyes must be brown. Please take this opportunity to go back there and tell them to stick up their ........................... S's.
