Default 2002 Parts

Has anyone with a '00 or a '01, ordered or installed any 2002 parts on their S2K. Such as the interior door handles (with the chrome accents), the rear lights with the chrome rings or this new center console (not sure if it's just the cover that's different since I haven't seen one). Just curious as I thinking about a few of the changes myself...

Since I made a mess of my rear light housings (by opening them and painting the insides body-color) I am going to replace them in the spring with 2002 housings... That's about it, I don't want any other 2002 pieces...

Actually, I'd also like to know from Trevor at HandA when the '02 parts that are different from '01 and '00 cars will be available to us for purchase.

The rear light housings are infinitely more difficult to open, paint, and reassemble... Not only did I knock-off Silverstone paint inside the housing during reassembly but they leak very beadly. As no light housing was ever meant to be opened, the rears have a far greater chance of being messed up than their front cousins...

With some more hindsight experience... I would leave the rear light housings alone...

Thank you Derrick for your complement...

What about the inside door handles with the chrome accents? I think that looks sharp and am going to inquire about getting them...
