2003 S2000
I would expect a IVTEC 2.0 or 2.2 liter engine in the 2003 or 2004 S2000 with at least 270 HP and torque up to 170 to 180 ft lbs. The body is going to stay the same..but they might add autoleveling to the Xenons headlights and maybe some side airbags and possibly some traction controlactivehandling package. Remember there are never any options on a hondaacura, so it will be put into all cars.
They just might leave it alone for 2003 and put all this into the 2004 and 2005 cars and then in 2006 there will be no S2000 or maybe a totally redesign.

If they do a big upgrade in 2003 then the price will be also hiked. So buy one now and be happy.
JDM models already jumped up by 90,000 yen ($700) for the 02 models (in a negative inflation country).

i thought the s was a limited production car? if so i dont see why they would do a change to the engine.
I think if anything Honda might end the S on a high with a type R - remember how long it took for them to release the ITR.
S2000 Type R - ooooooo....i'm getting shivers just thinking about it

As fair warning to anyone BUYING an s2ooo, maybe you should post where you test drove a car with so few miles at such high rpms.
Seems like a TOTAL lack of respect for a finely made automobile, IMHO.

Considering that MY2000 was the last production year, the MY 2001 was the last production year. I'm sure MY 2002 is supposed to be the last production year. I don't know what is in Honda's mind, but they may do with the S2000 like the Porsche 911 or the VW Bug and just make small improvements each year for who knows how many years.
