I was wondering if they bolt right in or if there is any modifications needed to be done. Choosing between jdm 02 headlights and 04 headlights any suggestions??? thanks for the help

 

Fronts "bolt in" however the ballasts for the '04 vs. the pre-'04s are different. So that's where the rub is financially. Take some time to search for some threads from Hardtopguy who supplies all sorts of OEM Honda parts for our site members. He took time to photograph the differences of the headlamp assemblies and how different the ballasts are. Looks like the new ballasts share much in common with the smaller Acura ballasts to that of our large-bricked pre-'04 S2000 ballasts.

it can be done. I did it by modifying my ballast in order for it to work with the new headlights. Check it out
