i just put a mugen exhaust on my 2004......feels smoother.

no idea if it's making a few extra ponies or not.

ok, the dyno was done on 1/12/04. the date on the dyno is messed up.

i can tell you that my car ran a 189hp when i 1st had it. this was when it was BRAND new. i was pretty upset seeing othet cars run 200+ stock so i decided to give it time to see if the motor would yield more power at a later time. i think all motors get stronger over time (up to a certain point). i did 3 runs yesterday and they were 221, 222, and 224. another run probably would not have increased from 224.

"Maybe with a few more break-in miles the results will be higher" - i feel it certainly will.

different dynos, different operators, same conditions (weather wise). one was done in south san diego, and one was done in central san diego. i believe the one i just had is accurate.

We've seen nearly 20 hp variances between different stock cars, same dyno, same day, same operator. No effort to control variables, just a fun day for people to get together.

Go figure.

i believe you cdelena. the dyno run that i did just now was to get a good guesstimate of what my car is pushing to the wheels. i was very curious and my curiousity has been satisfied. by no means is it 100% accurate and directly comparable to different variables in other dyno runs.
