Guys, notice that King does not provide a "before" dyno on the site. In fact, the F22 motor already makes 20hp more than the F20C, without any mods; these results are exactly in line with other dynos of bone-stock '04s.

This was done at Autowave. They are a good Honda/Acura tuning/service shop in Southern California. I stopped by there and they have a Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer. It is the rolling type. I was bummed they didn't tell me before hand. I could have stopped by (it's a mile from my house) to do a base comparison. I am planning to get the Mugen exhaust soon. I probably will go there for the install. At that time, I will do a base dyno. Keep in mind this is not the type of dyno that yeilds the high HP numbers like the one that T.O.V. used.

Yeah, I'd give that dyno a whole lot more credibility of it included before and after runs, as well as temperature conditions and such...cause we all know that a Parts shop would never fudge numbers to make their parts look good.

Emm - people note that a dyno dynamics is NOT equivalent to a dynojet - it is an endyn dyno which WILL read HIGHER in absolute terms -

Of course, as for any dyno, it can be used to compare % gains - but mugen has conveniently left off a baseline measure.

What time of day are you dynoing? The dyno says 1-13-04 and you posted at 5:38am EST.

Hello All-

The dyno sheet is for a 2004 USDM S2000 w/ 2.2 engine that we put together for American Honda and the 03 SEMA Show. There were no baseline dyno test because we only had 1.5 weeks to build the car before it was shipped to the west coast. There was no fudging on the dyno run. In fact we did not even know Honda Tuning had the car untill the testing was complete.

The dyno sheet is what it is. As with all chassis dyno testing they are only numbers relative to those conditions at that point in time.

Cheers!

PS. Maybe with a few more break-in miles the results will be higher....
