well then what do you need from us
all you do is go to your local dealer and have them order it for you. Simple as that. You dont need the part-number for that. Have the parts-salesman look up the part in thier database

i understand Patrik
thats nice of you to do that and save them the trouble, but thats what they get paid to do so i woulnt worry about it. They dont expect you to walk in with a part-number anyway. Actually, i used to work for a local Porsche/Audi dealership years ago. And whenever we did get a customer walk in with a part-number which we had to order, we were always told to look up the part on the computer to verify that the part# the customer gave us is correct. Many times manufactures "supercede" the part numbers, ie update them and give them a totally new part#. You wouldnt belive how many times weve had customers come in with a part# written down and say "please order me this part#" and then when the part comes in, it ended up not being what the customer really wanted etc etc. It is for this reason that the Parts-salesPerson has to verify/look up the part number by the description you give them and not by a number you have written down. Another reason is the manufacture (in this case Audi/Porsche) does not take back parts from the dealer that were ordered incorrectly.
