Is the sky really gonna fall?

I don't want to spend that much on a cosmic umbrella, can I use the umbrella that I use to shelter myself from rain?

After the sky falls, what will we see when we look up?

It's falling all the time. You just can't see what's coming down. I'm afraid if you want your cosmic umbrella to be water resistant, this will be an option with an additional cost of $42.63.
This is what's so deceiving about the whole deal: After the sky has finished falling and you look up, it doesn't look any different. That's the beauty of this umbrella and the drive shaft spacer - when it does its job, you can't tell any difference.

Chaff protection will come in version 2, but the cost will increase significantly. To help justify the increased cost, I also plan to add in ScotchGuard fabric protection and frillies on the edge (your choice of color).

i'm in too Mac... i'd like to qualify for points 1, 3, 4, and 5.

also, i'd like mine in black leather, w/ optically clear piping around the seam and LED lighting for the piping... can this one adapt to your footwell lighting control box?

Your response is what is known as a Red Herring - you focused on every issue but the primary one - where is the evidence of the problem? My anolgies were an attempt to make that point clear, but you chose to duck it and focus the answer on me.
Road Rage, man, you don't get it do you. I don't have the answer/evidence as you so eloquently stated. My question was pertaining to the frequency (if any) or validity (if any) of this spacer issue. If i had the "evidence" I would'nt be ask'in ppl would I? I don't think so.
Also, you talk about me saying that I "focused on every issue but the primary one" but I guess when you said:
It is the same for the whacko environmentalists, who claim we are polluting ourselves to death, yet there is no epidemiological evidence (I was pre-med, too). Longevity is higher than ever, only partly attributable to medical advances. Cars produce a fraction of the pollution they used to, and we heading towards zero emissions.
this was relavent...right? I don't think analogies like this are really relavent. It seems to me, that you are the one not focusing on the "primary one." So pay attention, I never said I have the answer/evidence (or else I would not have wrote). I simply wanted to know what the deal with this product was...alright.

P.S. I noticed your inclusion of "pre-med" in your prose in some sort of attempt to establish authority. Well, I was pre-law before I became a sociologist (thus, these feeble attempts are quite transparent). So, designation allusion are not really warranted here.

Xviper, I would like to address your take on J's spacers:
J's may in fact, have marketed such a spacer for other vehicles with "live axles" where such an application may benefit from it. They may have simply decided to add an "S2000" spacer to the line up. Unfortunately for J's, our car does not have a live axle.
Actually, J's spacers are a proprietary system designed specifically for the S2000, not for live axles. In fact, I don't believe J's or most of the JDM manufacturers for that matter, make live axle products.

Simple answer...this is not an issue with S2000s.
