fperra and docofmind are good sources...trust their answers...do it without, then if it's bothering you switch to the 04 sg

Is the splash shield really necessary? I removed it from my 03 when I installed my CAI.

I used my original splash shield and everything is fine. Definitely diy.

Sounds great guys, I'm getting the bumper, tow hook cover and grill in sometime this week.. then the girlfriend is buying me the 04 headlights as a early xmas present!! Can't wait to get everything on and see how it looks.
