Default 2004 TSX to 2002 S2K

Hey,

New to the forum and found great interest to the 2002 S2K. I currently drive a 6spd/TSX, however I'm planing to trade-in for an used 2002 S2K
. Anyone on this board with similar experience?

Also, what is a good price for an used 02 S2K?

TIA,
Jeff

21-22K at a dealer for a lower-mileage one.

19-20K for a higher mileage (>35K) and/or from a private seller.

I test drove an '05 TSX this past weekend. It is not NEARLY as powerful. The refinement is a lot better, but then again, it is an Acura. If you are looking more for overall driving evperience, nothing short of a Boxster S can touch this car. if you are looking for refinement (no squeaks, rattles, worn carpeting, etc.) this car is probably not for you. It is more of a pure roadster.

Also, FWD vs. RWD.....HUGE difference.

I test drove the TSX and thought it was sporty..... then I drove my S2000, then I drove a TSX again and thought it was sloppy as hell LOL all relative.

OK then!

My wife has a TSX (automatic unfortunately) but I have driven a TSX 6-spd. The S2K will feel like a primitive car compared to the TSX in terms of general driving feel and refinement. Of course, the TSX feels like a plain FWD sedan compared to the S2K! The cars are so different, it's hard to compare. She likes hers, I like mine, that's all that matters to me!

I don't know about the S2K feeling "primitive", though I agree the TSX's interior is one of the best in the Sedan class.

Anyways, thanks for the input.

Every opinions are appreciated!

I love the interior with the nav system.

I want an Elise soooooooooooo bad!!!!! I went for a wild and crazy test drive in the TSX and thought it was boring. I narrowed my decision to the S and the TL. Many days I wish I would have gotten the TL but I love my S. I would love my realistic dream garage to be an Elise and a TL...My unrealistic dream garage is definitely an M5, an F430, and a supercharged Range Rover..with an endless supply of free gas in the garage!!!
