Thanks. From the looks of it, everything is running smoothely. Hopefully by Mid-September, I'll be in a S2000.

STL, you own one? Never knew.

Now your avatar makes more sense.....
Yes I do; in fact I've had mine just over 5 years now. With mine having never been a daily driver, it hasn't even turned 20k miles yet -- so I don't really have any advice on your switch.

I would've thought my avatar (on the TSX forum) would have implied I owned one. Oh well, that's what I get for assuming. BTW, I have the same sig on TSX forum as here, but for some reason it only shows up there when I start a new thread.

Elise comes to mind.
Those are around $50k (Boxster S is around $55k), and as I understand from my mother (Attorney for Lotus) there is a 6 month waiting list. You must PUT DOWN $15k just to be put on the list!

I want an Elise soooooooooooo bad!!!!!
Ditto....Saw a black one with tan leather in Northern Cali a few weeks ago.....those lines are GORGEOUS! And everyone loves 1.0G on the skid pad, and 0-60 in under 5!

STL, you were correct.

I visited the dealer for a test drive (went in earlier than expected) and noticed how the interior was poorly maintained. Not only that, the dealer "fudged" the number on the mileage.

Never going to that dealership again.

Anyways, after much dissappointment, I contacted another dealer in Mahwah and he quoted me $23,000 flat for a 26kmiles Yellow/Black 2003 S2K.

I think the deal is fair, but he's offering only $19,500 for my TSX, but I think I deserve more.

I'll try to bargain hunt a bit more I guess....

iamhomin,
I'm sorry to hear that. I know you were all set on it, but the deal just sounded too good. And from what I know, dealers never do anything like that unless they're making out really good. Why not keep the TSX and just save up for a used S2000?
